Curriculum Vitae Instructions
Please organize your CV so that it follows the three main sections of
Education. Professional Experience and Demonstration of Scientific
Judgment and Recognition. Each section explains in detail what
the Accreditation Committee will be considering when reviewing

Education |

| 1.1 |
Degree in relevant field to include
a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent degree),
a Doctor of Medicine (MD or equivalent degree), a Doctor
of Philosophy (PhD or equivalent degree), or a Masters
of Science (MS or equivalent degree). |
| 1.2 |
Postgraduate training in relevant field
or pathology to include a residency in an accredited
entity (department, etc.) at an institution of higher
learning, or research training in a relevant field of
pathobiology at a recognized accredited laboratory. |
| 1.3 |
Professional board certification in pathology
(or equivalent certification) which includes veterinary,
medical, anatomic, clinical, forensic field or combinations
thereof. |

Professional Experience |

| 2.1 |
In reports/publications the quality of
research and evidence of principal contribution and authorship
will be used in the assignment of points. The list
of relevant internal (company or agency or institution)
reports, which because of their nature have not been
published must be accompanied by written and certified
approval from the appropriate supervisor. In addition,
submit a complete bibliography with citations, including
title and complete pagination or original research in
relevant peer-reviewed journals and major revisions and
book chapters. Do not include abstract presentations. |

Career progress will evaluated in one
or more of the following areas
- Search including routine duties
- Relevant teaching duties
- Relevant administrative duties
- Consulting
- Other
Provide a detailed description of responsibilities
at each level in one or more of the areas, including
size of staff. New and/or innovative contributions
to existing programs as should be described. |

Editorial Responsibilities in the field
of toxicologic pathology, toxicology and safety and risk
assessment are considered relevant. |

| Section 3. |
Demonstration of Scientific Judgment and Recognition |

In addition to research experience demonstrated
by publication, scientific judgment in the broader concepts,
issues and routine unpublished company reports and submissions
must be demonstrated. Demonstration of scientific recognition
is also an important element, and may take many forms:
forms such as, election to and participation in professional
societies, invited papers, seminars and workshops, or
awards. |

In general, evidence of scientific
judgment will result from participation in committees,
task forces, or other groups. These team efforts may
address issues that span specialties outside toxicologic
pathology but within toxicology, safety and/or risk
assessment, or involve problems of national or international
significance. Credit may be given for participation
in science advisory boards, inter-industry or inter-agency
task forces; interdisciplinary industry or agency working
groups; review committees; internal committees within
a company, university or agency; and professional
society and industrial trade association committees
that consider substantive relevant scientific issues.
Individual efforts may qualify as demonstration of
scientific judgment. Credit may be given for:
- Writing a book or review article. In contrast
to publications in Section 2, these works must reflect
broad based judgment factors in their contribution
to toxicologic pathology.
- Developing innovative teaching or research
programs distinct from traditional teaching efforts
and research paradigms.

Provide a list of membership. Indicate
when you were elected and list your activities as an
officer or committee member. |
| 3.3 |
Provide the title of invited papers or
seminars and the date and location of the presentations.
More weight will be given to invited papers at national
or international meetings then to seminars. |

Indicate awards recognizing scientific
contributions related to toxicologic pathology and toxicology. |
| 3.5 |
Summarize your noteworthy or significant
contributions to toxicologic pathology. |
